Message From Ross

Dear friends and neighbors,

After four years of serving as the State Representative for Springfield and Clark County I continue to be humbled by the trust that has been placed in me to represent the citizens of the 72nd House District. The honor of serving in the Ohio Legislature is not something that becomes dull with the passing of time, but is a constant driving force to make sure that our community has a strong and respected voice in the Statehouse.

Naturally, with the passing of time comes experience. I have been very fortunate to have benefited by more seasoned Clark County public servants who have shared with me their thoughts on how best to represent the many and varied interests of our communities. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to meet the many men and women who make up the General Assembly advocating for their own special parts of our State. We are diverse in our make up and philosophies, but I can honestly say that we all are passionate about doing what is best for our districts and our great State. Serving as your State Representative has been, and continues to be, the greatest education I could ever receive.

Since taking office in 2005 there have been many challenges and opportunities that have presented themselves to be addressed. Most of these are long-term in nature and require the combined efforts of many individuals to see through to completion. Our economic situation in Ohio continues to pose problems not only for Clark County, but for the rest of the State and the Nation. I believe that my experience as a manufacturer in Ohio and as an enterepeneurer combined with my Legislative experience will help solve the immediate problems of today, and craft what will be the prosperity of the future in Springfield and Clark County. My skills alone are not enough to adequately represent the various interests of the 72nd House District. I count on the continued input from the people who depend on me to be their voice in Columbus.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can ever be of service in navigating the bureaucracy of State Government, or if you have an opinion regarding a current legislative issue. Again, thank you for visiting my web site .

Sincerely,
